Ok, I read in a magazine that if you are female and have weight gain unexplained in your mid section/waist area, and you have persistant bowel problems, as well as frequent urination, it is beginning signs of ovarian cancer. The article said something about people mistake these signs for bowel problems, but it isn't, it's ovarian, or at least could be. I have all 3 of these symptoms. I asked my Ob Gyn about it and he seemed to think that was untrue. He said what I'm describing is more like either a colon issue, or diabetes...he said if it's bothersome to check into diabetes (we already know I've got IBS) but that if it were ovary-related I'd be having a lot of other tell tale symptoms that I don't have, although he didn't mention what those would be....

Does anyone here who deals with or has dealt with ovarian issues or ovarian cancer have any symptoms that were precursers that sounded like those 3 in combination?
