Hi everyone I am now 12 days past my surgery. All in all I think I am doing pretty good. I haven't seen my ns yet but the pain is getting better.Sometimes I have some pain in the front of my neck from surgery and it is starting to itch. :)
I feel so much better now than before surgery.It feels good to be getting my life back.Before surgery I was in so much pain I would be sick. The ns said the disk was so tightly compressed he had a real hard time getting it out and he believes this is where all the pain was coming from.The numbness in my hands and fingers is gone and although I still have some pain in the back of my neck it isn't as bad.It is only after I am up and around for awhile but rest helps.
I was wondering how long it takes to be able to go back to work. I am a hair dresser and my job requires me to keep my head down alot and to have my arms up over my shoulders alot.
