I have been using a progesterone cream I really like for the last two years, but now I found out that the company is closing and so I have to find a new cream that works as well. The one I have been using has 11% progesterone strength and a jar of 2 oz contains 1,050 mg. of standardized natural progesterone. The second ingredient is progesterone.
Now that I have to look for another cream I am abit overwhelmed with so many on the market. I want to find one as close to the one I am using now since the dosage and the cream has worked so well.
So I am hoping that you can give me some info on the cream you are using and if anyone knows of a cream simliar to the one I use and where I can get it. My cream will run out in a month so I want to have the new cream ready and waiting without an interruption.
Thanks

Hi, I was using Premugest which you can order online. It worked well. It comes in a 4 oz. pump bottle. As long as it is micronized and is not derived from wild yam, it should be okay. Another good brand is Emerita by Pro-Gest.
I have noticed some water loss and less PMS symptoms from using the natural cream.

sillysunday,
I looked up on the web the creams you suggested. I know of Emerita, but it does not contain enough progesterone . The Premugest has listed on its
web site that it comes from natural wild yam. You said to look for micronized. I am abit confused. How does one read the ingredients and distinguish wild yam from micronized? I loked up serveral others nd I could not find the wording micronized.

Emerita works good for me; I didn't realize the Premugest was from wild yam (I don't remember the label saying that; are you sure?); I did notice a difference when I was using both. You might do a search on ebay for "progesterone cream". I noticed they were selling a pharmaceutical grade (very strong) cream that is compounded at a pharmacy for $25 per jar. You don't have to use as much of it.
