Hi. I am new to this (msg. board and TMJ) and was just wondering what is the 2nd phase?
I have been diagnosed with TMJ (teeth,jaw,back of neck, dizziness and severe headaches) I have went to numerous Dr's, dentist and some say it is actual TMJ and some are saying that it is tendinitis.. I am supposed to have x-rays done this week to see if my jaw is out of alignment. Is this something you have had done? I am using a splint (from another dentist that didn't do x-rays) the dentist I am using now states that a new splint will have to be made when the x-rays are done, does this sound right to you? I have been in pain for about 3mos. and feeling like I am going "nuts" until I found this site and see that there are many others that are experiencing the exact same symptoms. The only thing, I don't think I see that is the same is that I feel like my teeth go together fine and rarely have the clicking or popping.. do you know if this happens with all TMJ? sorry if I am throwing too many questions at you :) I look forward to hearing your thoughts on this..
