My ear has been popping alot the last few years. Its on the side of my TMJ. I also hear the grinding and grating from my jaw. Sometimes it pops 3-4 times in a row. I am assuming it IS my ear popping as it doesnt sound like a joint popping but like when your tube is trying to open. I have fluid in there alot too with no infection. Sinus trouble too. I was just wondering if this is part of TMJ? Thanks for any comments!

It is from clenching your teeth and causing adhesions on the tensor palantini and tensor tympani muscles. My ears used to pop and hurt a lot also...I never had infections either.
