Using cortizones for about 20 years of my life, I was so excited that Protopic and it's sister Elidell were created. Now a cream that is not a cortizone that helps eczema. The problem, when I started to use it (first protopic and then Elidell) I found that the itching got sooooo much worse. I would put the protopic on my legs and then be up for the next two days just constantly itching them. I also found that the hot water on the areas I use the meds, feels funny under the hot water. The itch from the meds is so intense and so unbearable. Anyone else have these side effects?
