I think I accidently popped the cyst that was under my skin. Now it's a tad swollen and tender. Will it go away or should I see a doctor?


Dont touch it anymore and please dont pop cysts. If the cyst is big and realy bothers you go the dermatoligist and he or she will inject it with a cortisone. kenelog 40 is the trade name. I've had several acne cysts injected and they are best thing you can do for a cyst. Usually after 2 days the cyst will be flat. A good way to stop the redness is to put an ice cube on it for 5 minutes 3 times a day. It can help with the redness.
