Hi,
My white blood cell count has been going down little by little since July of this year. In July it was border line low at 4.0, then in Sept. it was 3.5. My Dr. said this was probably normal for me since I was not feeling ill.
I had a grand mal seizure a month ago and am now on seizure medication. I was in to see my Dr. for a blood count again two weeks ago, it is now low at 2.2. He doesn't seem to concerned. He is thinking lupus, but says it is really hard to test for it.
A week ago I had a urinary track infection, it has since been treated. Now my lymph nodes are swollen on my neck. I am going crazy! I am going in for a EEG in January.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Get a second opinion. You need to find out why the white blood cell count is going down.

How about being tested for HIV? Have you had that done? I dont want to worry you but my girlfriend has a low white count and the doctor tested her 2 or 3 times for HIV. Of course we were paying out of pocket so there was no pressure from the HMO or insurance to not give adequate care.

I too would get a second opinion, one from someone who specializes in hematology or blood disorders.
My WBC and RBC changes on a regular basis, one is high, then one is low, generally when I am sick for no undue reason. For me it's nothing to be overly concerned about however that's not always the case.
There are certain factors that can actually cause these changes, believe it or not, smoking is one of them because your body is not being properly oxygenated.

I have been tested for HIV, that was when I was pregnant. It was a routine blood test. I am certain that would not be it. My red count is fine. I got my results from my recent blood test and my blood cell count was 2.9 (I was fighting a urinary track infection) My hemo. is 12.9. I had Maleria last February (we were in the Dominican Republic) I am wondering if this is the cause for my drop in WBC? It all seemed to go downhill after the illness. I do feel fine though.

That may very well have been the cause. Have you seen a rare disorder specialist or someone who specializes in Malaria? Maybe you can get some assistance or even answers via that route.
