My son is 3 and still drools bad.He used to drool so bad that it would break his chin out.Well,he stopped for awhile but now is drooling again. He always has congestion in his nose and think he might have alleries.Could that cause drooling.I am concerned cause its alot to where the top part of his shirt is wet.He also snores really loud.Just thought I would mention that.Any info will be appreciated! Thanks.

My friends son did something similar to this so here's just information...Look at your son's tongue and see if that little piece skin stops him from putting his tongue out of his mouth. This is called "tongue tied" This can make a child drool, snore. Pediatricians usually check for this but it can be missed.
Maybe his molars are coming in and that can cause all kinds of symptoms. I hope you find out what it is. Keep us posted.

Thank you!He did see an ent and speech theripist and the ent said his adnoids looked big,but didnt do anything and the therepist said he has poor oral motor skills. They didnt say anything about his tounge though. That has been awhils since then to.I am worried because it just doesnt seem right and no one wants to do anything about it.Oh,yeah,he is getting his molars but he has been drooling off and on for a long time now so that is why I dont think it his teeth, but who knows maybe it is.I hope so.Thanks for your reply! :)

He might have allergies. You can sort of tell if you go through and wash his walls and wipe his toys and furniture off with a wet cloth. Deep clean the carpet by vacumming in several diff directions. Air the room out a tad bit ( in the winter it is mostly just fresh air). See if this helps any. My daughter drooled all the time, had one sinus infection after another and she was allergic to dust. I don;t mind cleaning so I would deep clean her room each week.
Also washing all beddin and draperies in hot water to kill dust mites, remove or store stuffed animals in plastic. It could be that simple. I would still call this to the attention of your Pediatrician or see an allergist.
Good LUCK!
