Hi Everyone,

Hope everyone had a great holiday. Just have a quick question. My nails are stained very yellow from always wearing nail polish. A few weeks ago, I tried the Orly nail whitening stuff and only noticed a little bit of a change. I am trying to wear light colors now with a base underneath. Is there any other products or home remedies I could try? I really don't want to go bare right now because the yellow is very embrassing.

Thanks for your help in advance :)

You can take a not to harsh nail file and file on top of the nail and it will take off the yellow and then take a white buffer and buff them. It will take the yellow off.

I was wearing a dark red polish on my nails for so long that I too had the stains. They were on my toenails and I tried everything but unfortunately that portion had to grow off for them to go back to normal. Keep in mind though that I had the polish on and kept re-applying for almost a year so maybe yours will come off with some buffing- good luck to you.

Just to update you guys...I used the white buffer tonight and it worked great, mostly all the yellow is gone. Thanks again! Happy New year.
