I have had 4 root canals and 2 apicos on my top front teeth over the last 18 years. The most recent was an apico last year. I have noticed since then that one side of my face seems to be puffier under the cheek area than the other side. I have no pain, but do feel some pressure along the gum line where I have had apicos and rc. Could I still have infection/cyst there and not feel any pain?

Hmm..that is hard to say. Only an x-ray will tell. But I suppose if the infection is very very minute you will not have any discomfort at the beginning. But if you feel there is something wrong and especially if you notice the swelling then I'd say something is not right. I assume you are talking about root amputations when you say apicos? If so maybe they did not remove all the roots on one tooth or just even a tiny fragment left under the gum can cause some swelling. You should have it checked out to take care of the swelling. Perhaps all you need is as simple as antibiotics to take care of the swelling. Call your dentist soon.
