I have on average a headache daily. some are mild, some moderate some, on rarer cases are pretty painful. they always occur in the left temple around the back of my left eye. for the most part when i have one i get really sensative to light, sound dont bother me but light does. for the most part they are a consistent pain, but everyonce in a while i get ones that feel like pulses. those ones often feel like a quick stabbing. had one of those about 3 months ago that lasted all day and no amount of asprin helped. then i had another one like that 2 weeks ago this one lasted about 5 minutes but was excruciatingly painful, it was so painful i was practiacally doubled over unable to do anything.

That was not the only severe one i have had. several years ago i woke up with one in the middle of the night, and it was extremely painful. i couldnt do nothing to get rid of it. finally after 4 hours of it i managed to cry myself to sleep, thankfully that was the last time i had one that bad.

The wierdest part of my headaches is the fact that i can go from headaches near daily for several months at a time then one day they will just stop and i wont have a single headache for several weeks. the last instance of that was about mid oct this year they stopped until near the end of nov but then started up again and have lived with them eversince

I thank you for any advice in this matter

Sounds like migraines to me. The key is "i woke up with one in the middle of the night, and it was extremely painful. i couldnt do nothing to get rid of it." Have you ever been evaluated or checked family history about migraines? They can come and go with the seasons for some folks. Try a google search or the sponsors of this site for a headache evaluation. Good luck.

Why don't you do yourself a favor and go see a chiropractor? Trust me it helps everything.
