Thanks cstiffey2003 08-26-2003, 10:59 PM i relly cant help you but i just wanted to respond to say i am here for you. christina http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/angel.gif saxgirl 08-27-2003, 03:46 AM It takes about 10 minutes. You lie on your back on a table, & they stick your head in a big donut hole & take a few pictures, then you're done. They'll probably make you wait in the waiting room a few minutes to make sure the pictures are clear. Good luck! Whoops, I might have underestimated...the 10 minutes assumes the tech's efficient & doesn't find anything really interesting to take pictures of. If it goes 30 minutes & they're taking lots of pictures...probably not a good sign. Be prepared for the very loud noises that keep going off. They aren't there all the time but when they are - boy do you know about it. You may be able to borrow some ear plugs. The main problem I had was lying still for so long. They will give you a buzzer if you are feeling scared and they will stop it but they have to start again from the beginning ~ so try not to press it -try and get it over and done with in one go. Good Luck ------------------ Ann xx |
