Im wondering how often , if anyone knows, should a person need to have MRI's ? I had one a little over a year ago that was negative but now Im getting dizziness and vision disturbances and wondered if Id need another or if It might be something else. please reply...thanks

Hi I have only just started using this board so I am late in replying. I had a mri 12 montha ago and it was negative. i had another 6 weeks ago and it shows some deteriation of the brain i am going to hospital on 19/01/05 to find out what has happened since my last one. i have very bad memory problems etc. I must say it was my husband that insisted i have another one done the doctor wasnt going to do another one, so thank god my husband was with me. So please insist that you have another mri if you think you need one. carolfer
