I started menapause last year. :o I had a hysto with ovaries left in 3 years ago and I was doing great. Felt better than I had in years. THEN, I believe my ovaries quit working and my body jumped right into menapause.

Some of my symtoms of menpause that were very difficult to deal with was a heavy dark depression, anxiety, irritability, fatigue, and feeling a little insane......lol ;) at times. I opted for a low dose of estradiol to help me go through this. I talked with my Dr. extensively about using the estrogen. There was a time I had to up my doses, and I thought, OH NO, am I going to have to be on estrogen the rest of my life......(whine) :

I'm happy to say, that my body is finally adjusting and I am able to reduce the amt of estogen I've been taking to 1/2 pill every 7 days. (seems like)......AND I"M here to tell you ladies, I'm going to make it......LOL :bouncing:

Hannasnana, thanks for sharing; it does give me a bit of hope. Maybe eventually things will calm down when the hormones get settled.
