Sponsor norrell 12-31-2004, 09:02 AM If you have an infection on that tooth then there is a possibility that it could cause you to feel nausea. Esp. if there is a lot of infection. The infection is carried to the rest of your body via your blood and can give you that effect as well as the not feeling well effect, sickly feeling. Maybe you can call your doc who is treating your root canal and tell them how you feel and perhaps they will work you in or get you in sooner for treatment. I don't know anything you can do to make yourself feel better though. rhody 12-31-2004, 11:57 PM Hi, There's also a chance that feeling that way, is caused by anxiety. I'll be the first to admit that I don't like going to the doctor or dentist. Sometimes, I'll convince myself that I'm not worried, then realize that I really am. Usually after the doctor or dentist visit, then I'm fine. I think it can be normal for a lot of people. That's only one possibility, but I thought I would mention it. There could be number of other reasons.... Ann123 01-02-2005, 02:34 AM or if you are on an antibiotic for the tooth, a side effect of the medicine could be nausea. norrell 01-02-2005, 09:56 AM What Ann123 said is true also. If you take antibiotic on an empty stomach you will usually feel nausea. Always try to take it with food. |
