Hi! I'm new to the board and have a question. I have a black spot on the inside of my teeth (top left). The spot is visible when looking at the "inside" of my mouth. I have just recently gained insurance and am scheduling an appointment with a dentist, but just wanted any advice on what this could be. Also, any suggestions for a really bad toothache? My wisdom teeth on the left side are coming in (not impacted, I hope--the dentist will decide that). The bottom tooth has been hurting for almost a week.

Black spot is probably either a stain or a hole. The doc will let you know which it is. Same with the wisdom teeth- The pain might be a sign you'll need to have them out, but you'll just have to get the X-rays and all that stuff and see what's up.
