Hi there.
It's a very old fashion home remedy, but thought I'd tell you anyway. And of course you use this at your own risk. Safety first.
My family has used it for several generations for non injury eye problems.
My older brother has pink eye repeatedly as a child. Medications worked for a short time, but it always came back.
While visiting one of this times, my grandmother told my mom how to cure it. My grandmother was born in the 1800's and they used a mother's milk for pink eye then. We used canned milk and it's worked everytime. Pets and humans alike.

Evaporated canned milk. The kind you cook with, but not the sweeten, thick brand, Used for baking sweet treats.
(I won't use brand names)
Clean the top of the can well. Wash and dry it. Open the can carefully, as not to upset the metal top that much. Nor do you want shavings from it.
Pour some of the milk into a seperate container and let it settle well.
Use and eye wash cup, eye dropper, or spoon to put into your eye.
Pull the milk slowly off the top of what you've set aside.
Have a warm cloth ready to wipe your eye, you'll tear up and the milk can be messy.
Pour the milk in your eye. It will Sting.
This should be done 2-3 times a day, more if you feel the need.
The milk works as a draw with infections.
I know this is not modern medicine, but I thought I'd tell you about it.
