Over a year and a halk ago i had some problems where i was living. Some guy was attacking residents in my building. Afraid i called my brother to ask him if i could stay with him for one night till they arrested him. He told me no several times and he never mentioned he was sick with a sinus infection. He finaly said i could after talking to him for over a half hour.
I went to his house and noticed he had a teaming sinus infection very bad one. I asked him if i could sleep on the couch so i wouldnt get sick. He told me no since it was new and he didnt want it ruined and he was going to sleep there. To make a long story short i used some old soiled lines with his infected snot on it not knowing it was dirty and two days later i had the same nasty infection.
Beleive it or not 2 years have passed since that night and i still have the infection. I have tried everything under the sun and nothing works even powerfull antibiotics. I have never heard of this happening to someone in my life. I have paid 1,000s of dollars to find a cure for my sinus infection and i,m still sick.
Today we got into it and i told him do you realize i have been going threw hell on earth for the past two years and i have to irriagte for the rest of my life to flush out all the puss and bacteria because of that one night he got me sick. Wether inttentional or not i have a major grudge against him should i or should i not?

No, you should not hold a grudge. You asked for a place to stay and he unwillingly allowed you to stay against his better judgment. You would not take no for an answer.
You knew the linens were not fresh, you should have found clean linens.
You knew he was sick and there was a high risk of catching the illness just by being in the same area. Anytime someone sneezes, exhales, etc. the bacteria remains in that air space for 10-15 minutes and if someone walks thru that air space during that time will be exposed.
It is not likely you have the same infection for 2 years. Most likely you get sinus infections or allergies off and on from time to time and it seems like one continuous illness.
Life is too short to be miffed at your brother. Brotherly love is worth more than gold.
