Over the past 3 months I have been experiencing intermittant hearing loss in one ear. It has been occurring more frequently and is now accompanied by facial numbness and a feeling of fulness and pressure.
Has anyone else ever experienced this?

I agree with the post above. This should be checked out by a dr.

I get that off an on since I had a head injury in Jan. I had an MRI done and its possibly due to the seizures I now have from the injury. I also agree with the others, go to a doc and maybe get an mri done. Best of luck.

An ENT helped me when I had a facial nerve problem and also when I had a clogged-plunger, presure type feeling and my hearing (presure) would cut out. It sounded like I was under water. When that happened and it was a long time too. He could check your hearing, ear pressure & facial nerve function.

When I had that ear fullness I had significant negative pressure in the right ear, he thought Eustachian tube dysfunction and gave me Rx for Flonase. I gargled with warm salt water to clear the postnasal drip in the back of the throat. When I yawned "it" redistributed and equalized the inner ear pressure (even if it was for a short time)

Hi Terahjoy! Did you get your hearing loss checked out?

My friend had same and unfortunately hers was diagnosed as a brain tumor. She's had treatment and back to work.

Heya this sounds alot like what i was diagnosed with the other week and if it is then it sounds to me from what my GP and ENT doctor told me i had that you have something called Belles pausey if i spelt that right it occurs from ear infections where they spread and effect your face muscles to make them weaken until they cant really move to do things as usual like to smile as the muscles wont move to show that it makes you look a bit like Elvis i have said as your face slopes to one side but i think that the ENT is the best place to check for that as they will know straight away and it will need help to clear up which they can give or refer you to someone if its something different to a place that is revlevant hope this helped Emma x-x-x-x
