My daughter who is 22 years old was just diagnosed with osteoarthritis and is in constant pain. I would appreciate any help in the understanding and treatment of this.
Thanks!

You might get some help on this board but you would get more help on the Arthritis board here at Healthboards. If you missed it in the Healthboards menu.. here is the URL
http://www.healthboards.com/boards/forumdisplay.php?f=15
Osteoarthritis = a form of arthritis
Osteoporosis = loss of bone density
They are NOT the same thing.
The National Library of Medicine has a weath of articles on osteoarthritis which may help you and your daughter gain understanding. Here's a link to that
http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/osteoarthritis.html
Good luck
