kristix, please dont be alarmed. i too have an arachnoid cyst but was told that its been there since birth. drs might want to keep an eye on it to make sure it doesnt leak or grow bigger but my specialist said that he is not as concerned about the cyst as he is about the tumor and even that is very small and needs to grow bigger before surgery. your dr should be able to tell you more aboutt it. keep us posted.
