View Full Version : nurological discorder,help! desprate

i need help, i have been having an ongoing condition for about 5 months now.it started with a little dizzyness, fatigue,and headaches.now i am speech impaired have very little ability to walk, my conseentration is awful,and my memory is going, lastnight i had a sudden attack. trowing me into convusions and compleatly took away my ability to speaki only started talking again a few hours ago and i still am studdering and slurring my words.all the doctors are telling me i have some kind of discorder of my central nervious system,they suspected multiple sclorosis or a brain tumor, but my mri i was normal and so were all my blood tests,i am developing vision problums and i am always confused and spacing out my nose beeds some times, i am wondering if i could still have a brain tumor or ms and it was just to erly to see in an mrimy mri was a moth ago, and im getting worse every day. i have been referd to a nuologist, but have not yet seen him, .in the last two weeks i have developed pian in my arms and legs and my muscels get very tense. my spine is sensative to tuoch {only descoverd this tonight} and my body is starting to jerk uncontrolably i need to know whats going on i.m only 22 years old and afraid i'll wake up tomarrow a vegatable...or not wake up at all..please reply and help me ,, im so scared!!!!

I am so sorry to hear what you're going through. I dont have any idea what you have but i just want to know that im thinking of you, it sounds terrible and you're so young too. I dont think the MRI would have missed anything, i think these are very accurate, maybe get a 2nd opinion on it. Have you had a spinal tap done or had a lumbar MRI? maybe these would help. The only person who can help you will be the neurologist, and since you're in a bad state i dont think you should be waitng to see him. You should be in hospital getting this investigated as i dont think its something you should be waiting around for. Good luck and keep us posted.

hi,and thanks for your reply.it means alot that you care.and to anwaer your ?s no i have not yet had a spinal tap or lumbar mri i see my nurologist in about a week. and i fully intend on keeping you informed.. thank you.~~kat~~

Have you had a lumbar pucture? Evoked potentials? What labs were ordered?
