Everyday I wake up in pain. I have a bad headache every morning. It will usually remit after I've been up for an hour or two. My upper back and shoulders hurt badly. They feel EXTREMELY tight. These symptoms lasts until I take a long shower, then the pain lessens considerably. I have spoken to a couple of doctors and chiropractors. I changed mattreses, per their instructions. I now have a $2,000 Tempur Pedic. It does not help. I have moved to different states and houses (due to job changes), no difference.
What is wrong with me? I sleep through the night, but I always wake up feeling horrible. What can it be? What can I do?

Thank you !

Morning headaches can be a sign of sleep apnea. You say you have consulted with many docs, where any of them sleep specialists?

do you snore heavily or toss and turn or stop breathing for periods whek asleep, ask someont to abserve ytou or taperecord or videotape yourself when asleep
you may well have sleep apnea, its often overlooked, apartly because theres no expensive patented drug for it, so the drug companies have no interest in promoting it to docs
