I have had weird symptoms for the past week. It started with an awful headache in my left temple with some dizziness and nausea. It progressed to become severe pain deep within my left ear (but not like ear infection pain), and a sense of distorted hearing/feeling of fullness in left ear. It is almost like an echo feeling in that ear. I am still getting the awful headache on that side and inside that ear. My PCP says I do not have an ear infection but he gave me penicillin just in case I have a "inner ear infection". I have been on that for 5 days and it isn't helping at all. THis pain/sound distortion is driving me crazy. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? I have an appointment to see an ENT next Wednesday, which is the soonest that they could see me. Thank you.
