I have begun to notice some small, round skin colored bumps on the shaft of my penis, and i'm real worried they might be something bad. At frist i only noticed two of them and they were right beside one another about 3mm apart and about 1mm in diameter each. recently i have noticed a few more start to appear in random places under the head of my penis as well. the original two have been there for a long time, and haven't gotten any bigger, as far as i know. none of them are painful or itch. I have read some documentation regarding HPV and genital warts, and i dont think thats what they are, but i'm still worried. I've also looked into sebaceous prominence and that sort of thing, but i dont think what i have quite fits into either HPv of sebaceous gland prominence, so i'm kinda stuck. Any professional opinions would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same thing if what you are describing is very small bumps just below the head of the penis. I can't remember what they are called, but there is a name for them and they are harmless. I was worried a while back and did research and found pictures on the web of the same thing. Are they small bumps just below the head?

no theyre on the shaft. they are skin colored, 1mm in diameter and relatively circular...thats why i dont think they are warts, but i dont know what else they could be, since it doesnt seem to fit in with sebaceous prominence either

obviously it's difficult to tell from your description, but it could be molluscum contagiosum. something to look into.

Hey Worrywart~
I'm not medical professional but I have spent many hours on here doing research for what I think have...the HPV virus. Althought symptoms are different for each person but the most common sign in males are the bumps on the shaft. But like the other said in this post that it is hard to tell until you get checked. Keep us posted. Good luck ;)

sounds like fordyce papules. They are oil glands that have enlarged. Not a problem!

it may be Granuloma Inguinale..a bacteria disease which is not harmful and can be treated..it is rare in USA if that is were you live.
