Hi, I am a 36 y/o female and never used to get headaches but about 2 years ago i had an awful headache, I had a ct scan everything was fine. I get mild headaches a lot and take ibprofin 800mg it helps, On thursday, I felt very sick and had the worst headache ever, It went away about 8 hours later but is still lingering and today is monday, I went to urgent care and she gave me vicodine! I am not sensitive to sound but a little to light, It is in the back of my head and in my shoulders and neck. Do you think I should worry? I made an appt with doc but can't get in till friday morning. Thank you for your responses I appreciate it.

P.s. Ibufrofin ain't cutting it for this headache, and I took vicodin and fell asleep.

hi i am telling you that it sounds like a migraine. actually i get these kinds of headaches at least 20 times a month from stress. ive been getting them since my freshman year in high school and have had 2 cat scans and an mri.

oops I am 26 not 36, Thank you for your reply, Maybe I can stop panicing about it now!
