ive had a very flemy (spelling?) cough since christmas. nothing else just this cough. no fever, no sore throat, no stuffy nose nothing. for awhile this cough was liveable but the past couple of days at night i wake up having a coughing fit the flem? comes up and chokes me and i cant breathe i have to gasp for air. whenever i try to spit it out i choke some more and feel like im going to throw up. i cant help gagging. during the day its ok but at nightime its a nightmare. im sorry to be so graphic but thats the only way i can explain it:P does this sound like it could be pneumonia? or do you konw what else it could be. we tried to call the doctor but they arnt open until tomorrow.

Sounds like bronchitis and it could turn into pneumonia without proper treatment.
