Hello, I am a nineteen year old male who has been experiencing headaches for a couple of months now. I first thought that these headaches were only located in the back of my head but i am starting to feel them all around. The area around my eyes and temples also aches. I have also had a semi-stuffy nose. I am planning on giving these things a few more weeks until i go to my physician. Do these sound like sinus or tension headaches? Or could it be something worse? I have had a lot of stuff on my mind for most of the year, so i am kind of leaning toward tension headaches. I am also very scared due to the fact that when i type in headaches on yahoo brain tumors always seem to come up. I would greatly appreciate any responses.

see your dr. soon. it sounds like it could be your sinuses but it could be unrelated to the stuffy nose. even a snuses infection can be a problem if it's not taken care of.

Stress does some crazy stuff to your body. Why is it that headache sufferers automatically think that they have a brain tumor  . It could be something as simple as your pillow or the air coming from the air ducts throughout your home. Maybe you are allergic to something. I recently found out that I am allergic to alot of the food I am eating. I watch what I eat now and my headaches have decreased dramatically. I too used to wake up every morning with a headache and then I started to suffer from migraines at least 3 times a week  . I wish you well  .

Do yourself a favor and get checked out. The stress/anxiety of waiting and not knowing can often make things worse. I have suffered from daily headaches for almost the last year and only over the past few months have they gotten significantly better. I finally gave up worrying about them after I was thoroughly checked out, and even after that it took month's to get better. Good Luck

do not read the internet because half the time it is wrong..you are probably under stress and trying acupuncture or massage therapy may help. I tried medicine for years and it messed up my liver. hope it all works out.

Thanks for all the rsponses. This site is truly great. I was prescribed to some sinus medicine and I am starting to feel better now. I hope I stay pain free.
