I am new at this board.
I need help from VIGILANTE.
I writing you from Rome Italy. My wife has
an Adenocarcinoma of the "coledoco" (Distal Common bile duct?). She is 41
years old. She had a Whipple (duodeno-cefalo-pancreasectomia) resection the last 22nd
of november. The histological analysis classified the cancer as pT3-pN2-pMx. Now they want
apply chemio in order to avoid recurrency. But they also said that chemio could be
not effective on this kind of cancer. So we are really confused since we know that chemio
will surely be harmful for his health.
I read carefully the indication you give about EXISULIND in answering to THERESA last 10/19/00 , so I asked CELLPATHWAY.COM if
they are experimenting EXISULIND on the BILE DUCT CANCER.
They told me that at the moment not. So they cannot say if EXISULING may help my wife.
Have you knowledge:
a) if EXISULIND may help my wife?
b) where it is possible to experiment the EXISULIND therapy?
c) who should i contact to check that?
Grazie

They're still talking about me?? hope i actually helped someone. ok, here's what to do. exisulind is a metabolite of clinoril, or sulindac, an available arthritis pill. it works much better with a statin cholesterol drug. would give clinoril 400bid and mevacor 40bid. also look into antifarnesylation agents such as NuOncology's arglabin, used for BDC in Kazakistan. the estrogen 2ME2 is very good, and oral copper chelators prevent the spread of any cancer. look into immune therapy too. God Bless.

I thank you for your answer.
I submit your hints to my physician along a small dossier on EXISULIND (from cellpathways.com) and ARGLADIN (from NUONCOLOGY).

The following two problems arose:
1) italian oncologist have no experience with the two drugs
2) arglabin is not available in Italy

I can try to manage the second problem asking Saaed Kashkimbayed of www.ec21.net. (http://www.ec21.net.)

For what concern the first problem could you suggest a possible protocol which provide:

a) how much of clinoril, mevacor, arglabin, 2ME2 and oral copper have to be assumed?

b) how frequent clinoril, mevacor, arglabin, 2ME2 and oral copper are to be assumed.

In case you know that the above drugs are used somewhere in Italy or Europe, please let me to know.

Finally consider that in Italy, as may be in your country too, physicians are responsible of their actions so they cannot apply protocols which are not explicitly allowed from the local health autority.
This may push me to do myself. I hope you can support me in this action.

In case you consider more appropriate to be directly in touch, let me know. I will ask HealthBoard to communicate you my e-mail address.
