I hope someone can help me with this.

I am making a appointment today.

A few months ago. I had to go to the emergency room because I had some slight vision problems and vertigo. It was really bad and it often hit me in the morning. The ER doctor gave me a few days of light activity and some dramine. He also advised me to see a neurologist.

I came to believe that since I had went Raid crazy a few weeks earlier in my master bedroom. I was trying to kill spiders. That I might have been inhaling the fumes all that time and it caused it.

Currently, I don't have any vertigo. But before that I had some drumming in my left ear. It came and went. I went to a doctor and he could not diagnose anything. Now my main problem is this.

My left and right hands sometimes go into slight seizures. They move on their own, squeezing themselves into a slight ball. Not at the same time but on random encounters. Also, my eyebrows have started twitching. This is really weirding me out. At first it was just my left eyebrow and now it has my other one doing the same thing. I'm starting to wonder if something serious is wrong with me.

Now in the past year I have lost my baby brother. He past away due to a seizure. My close friend has become imprisoned for 15 years. And I now work a job that is a overnight shift. My dad thinks that its just because I'm tired a lot now because of all the stress and since I have such a hard time falling asleep.

Anyway... Any thoughts on this?

I'm assuming you've had a check-up already with your doctor by now? Your symptoms could be a bunch of different things. I know it's hard, but try not to leap to any worst-case scenario conclusions. Let us know your status and progress.

Take care.

Well, you certainly make a compelling case for "nerves", as your father suggests.
You certainly would have nothing to lose by allowing yourself a moratorium.
Apart from the standard tests you might be awaiting, I would recommend that you give yourself 2 weeks of luxurious rest. Perhaps you can manage a leave of absence
from your job for a few days. Eat healthy foods, engage in some light exercise,
and get plenty of rest. See how you feel giving your mind and body time to recover.
If the symptoms that you describe disappear or, at least, noticably decrease, then you know that your father's on the right track. I'd start there before assuming it's all physical. I hope you feel better. BobF

Hi, It does sound like a lot of stress, but you may look into labrynthitis on the inner ear board. I have had that on several occasions over the last year. I just woke one morning with severe spinning vertigo, and nausea. And the strange feeling in your head and feeling a little off balance will continue for a while (if its like what I had), I know its differing degrees for different people. The other incidents were the same I just woke up like that, and they were 6 months apart. Just with you saying y0u woke with it, and also had the strange sound in your ear sounds like that could be it.
I hope this helps, they have a good board on here for that. Dr's can't really do anything for it, just give you meclizine for the vertigo.
