I have posted and also seen this on this site before but I have to do it again. This itchy skin is driving me nuts!!!!!
During the summer my arms itched so much I could not stop scratching them. I thought I was going to go insane from it. That lasted a few months. Then it stopped and life went on again. Now in the last few weeks my neck and chest area are itching me like crazy. I wake up in the middle of the night with it and it distrubs my sleep. There is no rash or discoloration or marks on my neck or chest- just itchness which is bringing out the bitcheness in me!
So do you have this too and what have you used that worked?

I have trouble with dry itchy skin, and it got so bad on my legs that it would wake me up in the night, and I scratched them raw. Try a cream called Amlactin. It also comes in an anti-itch formula. It isn't prescription, but is usually behind the counter - ask the pharmacist for it. I use it regularly, like right after I shower in the morning, and I have not had that severe itching. I also use Aveeno, which is on the shelf with all the other lotions and creams.
