I don't know what kind, I haven't yet spoken w/my dad...only my sister who was in charge of relaying the message to me.
I am just here to read and wanted to introduce myself in case I have any questions later. I am still trying to process everything. Not necessarily her death, that doesn't bother me...she deserves to be in peace.
I am more concerned with what feelings I will have left over after she has passed.
Thanks in advance, prayers and good wishes your way.

Sorry you had to, but glad you found this board. Hopefully, any question you might have, someone can answer.
I have never lost a grandparent. I did lose my husband to lung cancer recently. But, I will help you as best I can, and will pray for you and your family.

thank you renee
I appreciate it. My brain is swamped right now with fear, anger, sadness...just so many emotions.
I am 400 miles away, so it's difficult knowing that the last time I saw her may be the last time I will ever see her.
We are a super small family. Just her, her four children, and five grankids.
Super dysfunctional too, which makes me even that much more upset.
For Granny, I am happy. That woman deserves to finally be at rest. I don't think she's rested a day in her life.
Thanks again
