Hi, Please help me with answers about thalassemia beta. Have had spleen removed & blood transfusions. Am having more simptons now . I was in the hospital last week. Had High white count with no apparant cause and high platelet count in 800,000 range and going up. Do any of you think this could be related to thalassemia? :
