I have a friend who has had cancer before. He was just operated on for cancer where the esophogus (sp) joins the stomach. He is told it is in-operable, chemo will not work and cannot have radiation again. He was given 3-6 months to live. He has consulted the gurus of cancer in the CA bay area and told the same by all.
Is there alternative or experimental projects he can look into for a possible chance of life?
Thanks
Leon

Sorry about your friend, but it may be too late. I would, however, suggest you check out the Gerson Therapy through the Gerson Institute. In his day, Max Gerson claimed a 50% success rate with terminal cancer patients. His book, "A Cancer Therapy", available at many health food type book stores, is worth the read for Gerson's understanding of cancer.
If you want to be somewhat less happy with the cancer establishment you might read "Soil Grass and Cancer" by Andre Voison and then ask the same establishment why cancer is studied and the soil igored?
Best of luck to you and your friend. Don't give up if it seems hopeless, just try harder.

Tell your friend don't give up! The cutting edge works. They SHOULD use antiangios, targeted therapy and immunotherapy. I like oral copper chelators and the clinoril/mevacor or accutane/avandia combos. they prevent spread and attack the tumor.
