I am a 30 year old female who was diagnosed with papillary renal cell carcinoma in december of 2000 I had my right kidney removed along with a tumor the size of a football, the doctors say it has been there for 7-10 years how can this happen,they also took out 8 of my lymph nodes and my adrenal gland.I am recovering just fine.my concern now is the reoccurance and what is my life span now.has anyone gone through this or know anyone who has gone through this please email me I would like to hear your story.
