Hello!!!
My Mom (a Diabetic Nurse) is part of "Team-in-Training" for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. She is training for a marathon on Oct. 7th 2001, which will be held in Maine.
The money she is raising, a minimum of $1500.00, is for research and patient support.
If you, or someone you know, would consider making a donation, even a dollar, it would be MUCH appreciated. If you are unable to do so, any and all prayers that she can make it to the finish line would be a great help as well (she presently can only make 1.6 miles of 26)
Anyone who makes a donation and knows someone with a blood born cancer, my mother would be HAPPY to write their name on her shirt that she will be wearing for the marathon. After she will take a picture of her shirt and send it (via e-mail) to all who would like to see! Please feel free to e-mail me (Jesire25@aol.com) for donation info. or even information about the marathon.
