Hey everyone, I have a question for anyone who may know the answer. Im a 21 year old male and just yesterday I found a lump like think beside my testicals. Since it's not on my testicals, I'm not sure what to think. It's a small hard lump at about where the scrotum and meets the inner thigh. I gues my question is what do i do? should I wait and see if it goes away? Can it be cancer? Thank you all for you help and God bless.

Well, I beleive the best thing you could do is get an appointment with your family doctor as soon as possibe to make sure. It's always better safe than sorry. Testicular cancer is nothing to play around with and earlier diagnosing is the best way for a quicker cure if it is something.
Don't be embarassed. I had a sonogram done of my testicles last month just to make sure. I've allready been diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma, and I will not take anything lightly again.
Good luck, and more than likely it will be a normal growth.

Sounds more like an inguinal hernia or an enlarged lymph node. Have it checked out by a doc, preferably a surgeon.

I'm wondering what Matt found out..??? I have a brother who has this exact thing and was told that it was just an infection and given an antibiotic. Only the Antibiotic doesnt seem to be working...???

Hey, I went to the Dr and he looked at it and said it was just a cist and would go away..sure enough it was gone oin 2 weeks...

GREAT NEWS FOR YOU.......hopefully my brothers is the same.....he says his is almost like a giant pimple....other then the lump...that it keeps coming to a head then popping.....then sore as heck.....then back to just the lump...and within 2 or 3 days it starts over...(and yeah i know thats a crude description...but its how he puts it...and of course i'm not really in the mood to check myself..lol.)..keep ur fingers crossed...and any input you have...such as if this was the same with you will be very appreciated.....thanks matt...glad all is well...take care.....
