Hi everyone,

I am 44 years old and have been experiencing perimenopause symptoms since I was 39. But recently, I have had several "attacks" for lack of a better word, that start out with a huge adrenalin rush, my right eye would start twitching, and some dizziness, followed by days of nausea, then loose bowel movements. Has anyone else experienced this set of symptoms? I have had a few smaller episodes that generally go away pretty quickly, but these 2 major attacks had me down for a week each. I've had my heart checked (all good), blood work done (all clear), abdominal CT and Head scans done (all clear) and am seeing an endocronologist next week.

I have read on the boards that some women have experienced some of these symptoms.....I am pretty sure this is linked to menopause....I haven't had a period since July, so maybe I'm in the worst part of it so my symptoms are increasing. I'd love to hear if anyone else has experienced this set of symptoms....might help ease my mind!
