I have had a bad cough for about a week. I am so extremely exhausted, not very hungry (I'm eating just because I know I have to keep my strength up). At times I get very hot, then get very cold almost immediately. I have not been to see the doctor yet for personal reasons. I am an LD Tutor, and really can't miss a day of school, because my kids really need me. Could this be walking pneumonia, or just a bad cold? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!!!

Not enough info to determine whether you have pneumonia or not, but, you need to see a doctor for proper diagnosis.
Your students need you, but they do not need the pneumonia or other illness you are exposing them to. Please do yourself and students a favor and find out what your problem is, regain health and be back helping students.

I agree with the last poster, your students don't need to be sick.
I had walking Pneumonia in October it was terrible.
The worst part was a "productive" cough and I do mean productive almost too productive. It took two Z packs and Predisone to get rid of it and this took a month!
there is a product called Musinex you can get OTC that works to clear that crud out of your lungs.
I would go to Dr. if it is Pnemonia you don't want to mess around with that.
Good Luck xo
