Hey All
I'm a third year student studying biology, and I had to do a paper on Gap Junctions.
Ok a wee introduction of gap junctions. Cells in a tissue or body have little "tubes" inbetween them, where they can acutally communicate and share substances with each other. Cancer cells lack these gap junctions, and I read a research paper where scientists actually made a cancer cell return to normal!
I'm just really wondering if human trials are actually on-the-go, and if anybody is in these trials?
I must recommened whoever is sadly suffering from cancer, mention this to your doctor, and see what he has to say about it.
OK, well thanks xx
