OK, hihi.
I'm 15, 5'7, and between 162-165 lbs. Now, I've had so much difficulty with diets before.. I wanna lose between 25-30 lbs. I want to take it 5 lbs at a time.. so i can have little victories and such.
My plan?
Breakfast: Special K
Lunch: Orange and water, turkey sandwich sometimes
Dinner: Turkey sandwich and an orange.
*Oranges for snacks, and bananas. Lots of Diet Mountain dew. :) *(I'm addicted)
How's that sound? After each 5 lbs lost, I was thinking i could have a free day, where i can eat a little more normally. Then back on the diet again!!
Exercise: Swimming laps now and then, Tae-bo (20 minutes) and DDR. These aren't all on the same day, something everyday.
How does thaaaat sound? :D:D And my other question, How long does it take to lose 5 lbs usually?!?!?!???????
Thanks guys, I reallllllllly appreciate it!

Well, first off it sounds pretty boring and I doubt that you'll stay with it very long. Secondly, it's probably not enough calories. Third, I see too much fruit and not enough veges. Lastly, it doesn't look like you're gonna be getting enough protein.

It seems like you like turkey sandwiches. :D How about you have some chicken (grilled for example) w/ veggies for dinner. Try to change it up about and include some snacks in there throughout the day. Which may include fruit or vegatables, handful of nuts....etc...
If you worked out and eat healthy I would say you could lose the 5 lbs in about 2-3 weeks. When doing diets correctly it's healthy to lose approximately 2 lbs per week. :bouncing:

oooh.. thanks :D I love chicken too, don't get me wrong :D And my mom makes it really good, so i'll add that in along with some corn and carrots and such. :D
So then I'll check my weight every 3 weeks or so :D Hopefully this will work, and I've been addicted to DDR lately, I've burnt 300cals on it today already, plus i was doing cardio in the fitness center in gym today. :D

Your 15...you are going to eat popcorn and junk food when you go out with your friends...and what you said you are going to do sounds to me as if you are going to starve yourself...you need food in you...food is your fuel...if you go to start your car in the morning and their is no gasoline in it...your not going to get very far...your going to be tired and snappy and not happy..my suggestion to you since you are so young is to eat a nice breakfast..cereal with some fruit and some skim or low fat milk...lunch...eat whats served at school...im not sure how it works there..but where im from we had many selections...take the one that looks the healthiest...then when you get home eat whats for dinner in moderation..or if its something you think you will feel horrible for eating..then eat a turkey sandwich, with a nice salad with low fat or fat free dressing and some fruit...and have a couple of snacks...a fresh piece of fruit...some low fat popcorn...a rice cake...a piece of toast..a small salad...some steamed green veges...dont take the fun out of your youth..=)

Just because something is labeled "diet" does not make it good for you, so is the case with your 'addiction' to diet 7up. You need to be drinking lots of water and limiting your intake of soda.
