View Full Version : Permanant bumps - anyone else?

I had some herpes symptoms about a year ago (pimples on penis, swollen lymph nodes in neck, burning urination, etc.) but tested negative via culture and a type 2 specific blood test after a few months. Two doctors said they doubted it was herpetic. I didn't get a type 1 test b/c I am almost certain I had cold sores when I was younger.

Since then, I've occasionally had some senisitivity at the tip of my penis, but none of the pimples or other symptoms again. The only thing I've got are about 5 very small, pinkish/flesh colored bumps that are always there in a couple different places on my penis. Sometimes they appear more pronounced than others, but they are always there. It's been about a year now, and I don't know what they are. Has anyone else ever experienced or heard about something like this? Thanks a ton!

Have you been tested for the HPV virus, it could possibly be that, there is info on HPV on web searches along with pictures on some sites. Take care and I am glad you do not have herpes.

It could be HPV, some kind of irritation, or it could simply be harmless bumps on your penis. Small, smooth bumps on your scrotum or penis can be hair follicles or sweat glands. Personal question: do they seem more pronounced when you have been wearing tight clothes, or in cold weather? If so, this could point to follicles or glands.

ever tried squeezing them? if they are hard white deposites, I've been told that they are just fat deposits under the skin. If your doc hasn't been concerned, then don't worry!
