What it says up there? If not would 2 advils every 3 hours be fine I am in extreme pain with my throat doc says my throat looks very nasty but isn't strep? o well lemme know plz!!

Too much advil and similar drugs can really tear up your stomach. I would try alternating every other time with extra strength tylenol and see if that helps. If not or if the pain continues for more than another day or two, I would call the doctor and tell them you need something a bit stronger for your pain.

What strength are you taking? If you're taking the OTC Advil, you should be fine.

To put this into perspective, many doctors will prescribe 800mg 3 times daily for pain and inflammation. But make sure you're taking it with food, as NSAID's are hard on the stomache.
