I have a situation wondering if anyone could help me with this. I was on the patch for 8 months. I just recently started the pill (Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo) on Jan.3. My period was due Dec.21 (before i started the pill). Now i am 16 days late for my period. Could starting the pill be the reason why i havent started yet? It's just weird because i was due for it before i started the pill. Please write back thanks.

You body may be adjusting to the switch of B/C methods. I switched from Depo to Yasmin 4 months ago and my doctor told me that my periods may not be regular for a few months due to the switch. I luckily didn't have any problems with the switch though. If you're really concerned I would just call your doctor.

Thanks for ur reply the other question i had was i heard u have to take the pill at the same time everyday. Well i only started the pill on Jan.3 and on the 3rd i took the first 2 pills at 12:30pm (like my doctor told me todo) then i took the 3rd and 4th pills at around 10am or so (both days i had to work at 11 so i took them before i left). And today i took the 5th pill at 7am. Is that ok? Or r u suppsed to take it at 12:30pm because i took the first few pills at that time? Please write thanks.

As long as you take in between like a 2 hour time frame you should be fine. I take mine between 8-10pm every night. This is just so your body stays at a constant level with the hormone.

The way you took them is ok but you should try to take them more at a set time from now on, its ok to be a little off sometimes but you should try to get in a schedule. Like 7 am is far from 12:30. As long as you keep it between like 2 hours you should be fine. Like for example keep it between 7-9 am if you want to take it when you get up.
