When i went for my physical in Oct. my CBC came back, slightly anemic. My doctor said it is probably normal for me and that she would retest me in three months. Is it possible for it to change alot in 3 months? I wasn't feeling the least bit tired when she did the test 3 months ago, but now i feel like i am not as energetic as i was before. I will have it retested soon, but i was wondering it is possible that there will be a big change?? any comments. bride527

Red blood cells are formed, mature, and die in 120 days. They are the cells that carry oxygen to the body. If you were tested at the beginning of a cycle of cell maturity and there is a problem, then the anemia would be worse by now. This is all theory but the real way to know is to be tested again. If you are experiencing hidden bleeding, or are losing blood from monthly then you would likely be lower than last time if you are feeling tired.
