I was just wondering when dieting, what should I look at? The calories or calories from fat??? Please let me know. Thank you.

Both are important. I dont know your stats or anything but if you subtract 500 kcal from your daily needs you'll lose a pound a week. As for the kcal from fat, this should be 20 to 30 percent of your total kcal intake.
