What are the chances of Pregnancy??

I went off birth control in August and decided to go back on them this month. I started my period on Dec. 25, but I didn't start my new pack of pills until Dec.30. I also missed a pill on Jan. 1. I had sex last night and didn't use back up and I'm a little worried now cause it was the 13 day of my cycle.

The way for bc to be effective is that you take them everyday ( only missing 1 or 2). There is a higher chance for pregnancy when pills are skipped and when pills are taken late. Also, since you just started the pill again it is usually advisable to use protection until the hormones adjust to your body. Since you started your period on the 25th, you should have took the pills the following sunday which would have been Jan 2nd.
