I've drooled in my sleep for as long as I can remember. I think my saliva production increases when I'm tired. My jaw naturally opens when I'm almost asleep because there's not much air flow through my nostrils. I can't fall asleep unless I breathe through my mouth because I feel I can't get enough air comfortably otherwise.
Any suggestions for less drool? This is obviously not a dire situation, just an annoyance. I know many people have this problem... any idea how to limit saliva production at night?
Thanks!

I don't think this is the question but rather why you can't breathe through your nose? Perhaps you should look into the reasons behind this.

Are you on any medication because I'm on Risperdal and it's known to cause drooling. :nono:

netti pots and similar help to clear the nostrils and sinus of mucous, maybe would help to sleep on your back
a chin splint may help to keep your mouth shut, available from sleep apnea suppliers
