Hi Everyone! :wave: I am new to the message boards, but VERY excited to have found them. I am 28 had an ALIF surgery (anterior lumbar interbody fusion) in 2001 and am still suffering from pain. I am actually living on ultracet right now and have no answer on what is wrong with me. I had L3/4 & L4/5 fused with titanium cages and my L3 vertebrae has collapsed into the titanium (oh yeah!). They are talking about a bone scan and if that doesnt look good, then another surgery :eek: I am at such a loss - i am too young to be unemployed because of a surgery gone wrong, not to mention we want to start a family and I dont know if my body can handle that either. :confused: I would love to hear from anyone that has been through this or is thinking about it. I believe I am just a freek case that my fusion is a non-union, but I will be happy to share my experiences as well as listen to others. Thank you all!!
